Alin has been a resident of south Florida for over 50 years and now calls Sarasota his home, having previously lived in Fort Lauderdale. He graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in business management and finance. Alin’s goal has always been to have a firm that would offer the most comprehensive strategies and tools that the financial services industry had to offer and having a team of experienced professionals, founding Sarasota Wealth and Tax Advisory to serve that purpose.
Alin has been a featured speaker at national financial industry conventions, conducting educational workshops and seminars for advisors and the public. He has also lectured the University of Miami and Keiser University on many topics regarding retirement planning. Alin has appeared in Wall Street Select, Fox Business News, ABC, NBC, CBS News, CNN, Worth, Boston Globe, Miami Herald, Sarasota Herald Tribune, Chicago Tribune, Fortune, and Money, and has hosted his own radio show, “Smart Money Strategies,” for many years.
His designations include the Retirement Income Certified Professional from the American College, identifying him as a specialist in income retirement planning strategies.
When Alin isn’t in the office, he is a fundraiser and advocate for the Alzheimer’s Association, Hospice of South Florida, and the Humane Society, and is a judge for the University of Miami ethics debate team, which has won numerous national ethics debate contests. He also enjoys lawn bowling, tennis, and Tai Chi.
A human resources professional with more than 20 years of experience, June has worked for Uniroyal Technology Corp., Cox Target Media, and Boar’s Head with a focus on the design and administration of compensation and benefits programs and has helped implement comprehensive retirement benefits. These unique cutting-edge benefits programs have proven to help retain and attract key employees. Her experience and desire to help create an atmosphere of financial wellness for companies, small businesses, executives, and professionals are what make June a highly sought-after benefits consultant.
June believes that great things are accomplished through sound partnerships built on trust and integrity. In addition to building financial wellness, she is a promoter of health and fitness. June has led a team of Wellness Champions through a program that substantially increased participation in wellness initiatives. The increase in employee awareness played a major role in the company’s decreased benefits costs, which in turn allows a company to provide a more enhanced benefits package to include retirement programs.
June is a graduate of the College of Business Administration at the University of South Florida. She is a certified compensation professional (CCP) with WorldatWork and a member of SHRM, and she has been a speaker at the Employer HealthCare & Benefits Congress. She has mentored former colleagues who have become successful professionals in the field of human resources.
In her spare time, June likes to spend time perfecting her workout routine at the fitness club or with her personal trainer. She also enjoys long walks and cooking with her husband, Justo. A resident in Florida for over 30 years, June currently resides in Lakewood Ranch.
